This week we highlight Bruce Fleming, a Certified Financial Planner with Old Mutual Private Wealth Management and winner of the 2016 Financial Planner of the Year, awarded by the Financial Planning Institute of South Africa.
Bruce started his career in the legal field, but knew that was not his passion. He came across a concept called lifestyle financial planning, which starts and ends with a person’s financial goals and aspirations. With over 17 years of client-centric service and experience under his belt, Bruce’s achievements were acknowledged last year with the Financial Planner of the Year award.
For Bruce, his success is based on a deep understanding of and trust with his clients. Trust is essential when dealing with a person’s financial matters, says Bruce. “It is a very personal subject and my client must feel a complete sense of confidentiality and integrity”.
Bruce selected Cube Workspace Rondebosch for a several reasons, its prime location and that he could start his business on day one with no infrastructure concerns. The diversity of the Cube Workspace community has great appeal to Bruce, as he enjoys interacting with different industries and personalities.
