Cube Workspace V & A Waterfront is delighted to welcome Brevity Law as a new client. Their timing was perfect as they moved in on the day of the Waterfront social!
Brevity Law is a dynamic, boutique law consultancy providing practical and accessible corporate commercial legal advice. Their legal team offers big firm expertise, with a personal touch, to a diverse range of clients, from the start up entrepreneur to the listed company. With highly qualified lawyers, who have had experience at South Africa’s top law firms, their services are flexible, efficient, solution-driven and accessible. Brevity Law deal in all aspects of corporate commercial, property, business deals and transactions, from structuring through to implementation, legal opinions, agreement drafting, negotiation and advice.
Brevity Law was founded by two dynamic women, Shelley Mackay-Davidson and Juliette Thirsk.
Shelley has a wealth of experience which includes mergers and acquisitions, company set-up, business, property and transaction structuring and agreements, joint ventures, contract negotiation, drafting and due diligence.
During the day, a lawyer, whilst at night, Shelley enjoys the live music experience – not only as a fan of the vibrant live music scene in Cape Town, but also as a bass guitarist in the Johnny Ray blues band.
Juliette is passionate about using the mechanics of commercial law and drafting to realise her clients’ business objectives. She specialises in implementing corporate, business and property related sales and acquisitions and company setups. She has a special interest in assisting fledgling, dynamic start-ups in structuring their good ideas into commercial reality, assisting both the entrepreneur and investor in venture capital and angel investment transactions.
Juliette is an avid rugby union fan. From the local derbies of the Currie Cup to the spectacle of the Six Nations further afield, weekend afternoons spent watching the game with a beer in hand is one of Juliette’s favourite past-times. If Juliette was not a lawyer, her idea of a dream career would be as a broadcast journalist for Sky Sports.
Let’s welcome the team at Brevity Law to the Cube Community!
